Cristiano Ronaldo made his Saudi Professional League debut for Al Nasr against Al Etihad in a 1-0 win. He scored his first goal in a draw against Al Fateh, then his first hat-trick for Al Nasr in a 4-0 win against Al Wehad. Cristiano Ronaldo set a new Saudi Pro League goal record on Monday, scoring his 35th goal of the season for Al Nasr, surpassing the previous record set by former Al Nasr striker Abderrazak Hamdallah (34 goals in the 2018-19 season).
He set the record by scoring two goals on the final day of the season.
Given that Ronaldo is a five-time Ballon d'Or winner and has achieved numerous feats in far better leagues in Europe, such as the Premier League and La Liga, Monday's record may not be the most resonant of his achievements.

Ronaldo's team also failed to win the Saudi Cup and the Asian Champions League. It was the second consecutive season that Al Nasr finished second in the league.
