SOME NIGERIAN TRIBES THAT ARE NOT COMMONLY KNOWN AND THEIR STATES OF ORIGIN
Do you know there are not only one hundred, two hundred, or even three hundred spoken languages in Nigeria, but over FIVE hundred?
Yes!
However, only a few Nigerians can mention more than fifteen
of these languages off the top of their head. Moreover, a great number of us
have no idea about the existence of many others.
Here is a list of ten not very popular tribes in Nigeria,
and their state of origin.
1. AWORI: Lagos State, Ogun State
2. BARUBA (Batonu): Kwara State, Niger State, Kogi State
3. DUNDUDUN (Dunka): Taraba State
4. FYAM (Fyem): Plateau State
5. GIZIGZ: Adamawa State
6. IBENO: Akwa Ibom State
7. MBEMBE: Cross River State, Enugu State
8. QUA: Cross River State
9. UDEKEAMA: Rivers State
10. VEMGO: Adamawa State
